Hold the Line.
Your Ladder
Stays Put.
Cutting in a fascia takes a steady hand and a wet edge you can't stop halfway through. Lock Jaw secures your ladder to the gutter, helping reduce unwanted movement so you can keep both hands on the brush.
A Ladder That Shifts
Ruins More Than the Line
An unsecured ladder can slip out from under you and cause a serious fall - and on an exterior repaint you are up and down it all day.
A wet edge won't wait while you steady the ladder
Drop sheets and overspray make footing slick
Every reposition down the wall is a fresh set-up
Lock the Ladder to the
Gutter Itself
A spotter gets tired. A strap works loose. Lock Jaw is different - it clamps straight onto the gutter and turns the one thing that moves, your ladder, into the one thing that can't. Five seconds, no tools, no second person.
You Cut the Line.
We'll Hold the Ladder.
Lock Jaw doesn't cut the fascia in. You do. It keeps your ladder locked in, so both hands stay on the brush.
- The ladder slides on the gutter edge
- Brace it with your body - or tie up an apprentice
- One hand for the brush, one for the ladder
- Every climb is a gamble
- Clamped to the gutter - can't slide or kick out
- No spotter: one painter sets up and climbs
- Both hands free for the actual work
- Steady every time - home safe

Secure in
Three Steps
Position
Place the ladder against the gutter and position Lock Jaw over the gutter, with the bar behind the ladder rail.
Clamp
Open the handle, position the jaws firmly under the gutter lip, then push the handle down until it clicks securely into place.
Secure
Adjust the bar assembly until it sits firmly against the ladder rail. Check that Lock Jaw is fully clamped and the ladder is secure.

the Way Painting Crews Work
Meets OSHA's Secure-the-Ladder Rule
OSHA 1926.1053 calls for ladders to be secured against displacement - Lock Jaw helps you do it at the gutter.

Works on Most Ladders

Less Set-Up, More Coverage

OSHA LADDER SAFETY
for Painting Crews
OSHA 29 CFR 1926.1053 requires ladders to be used on stable, level surfaces and secured when necessary to prevent accidental displacement. Lock Jaw is designed to help secure your ladder at the gutter, reducing unwanted ladder movement while you work.
"This Lock Jaw product saves my workers and I getting on and off all kinds of roofs. It has adjustable features to compensate for different gutters and ladders to keep it firm. When I get off a high ladder I feel a lot safer when I'm locked in with at least one Lock Jaw."Ron, Speedspray · Verified buyer
"Don't, like many, overlook the importance of locking your ladder to the gutter. It can also be used in conjunction with gutter guard with no problems, which customers appreciate - not having the gutters, paint or Colourbond finishes damaged. It makes the ladder very stable to get on and off when constantly going up and down for hours to do jobs."
"An excellent product. My husband, a professional handyman for over 30 years, uses it without hesitation. The cushion clamping damages no surfaces as advertised - ladder activity can be quite vigorous without disturbing the balance."

Painter FAQs
Will it mark the customer's gutters?
No. Lock Jaw uses rubber-padded clamps on all contact points. It grips firmly without scratching, denting or distorting aluminum, steel or copper gutters. Not for use on plastic or vinyl gutters.
What gutter sizes does it fit?
Lock Jaw fits the vast majority of standard gutters - typically 4" to 6" profiles.
I move the ladder along the wall all day - can it keep up?
Absolutely. The quick-release design lets you unclamp, reposition and re-secure in under 10 seconds - ideal when you're working around the perimeter repeatedly.
Is it any use on roof coating work?
Yes. Lock Jaw was designed specifically for steep-pitch roof work, where lateral ladder movement is most dangerous. The clamping mechanism holds firmly regardless of roof pitch.
What ladders is it compatible with?
It works with the majority of extension and multi-position ladders painting crews use, including telescopic. Check the rail spec on the product page before you order.
How fast is shipping?
Orders ship quickly from within the USA, so you're protected on the very next job - not weeks from now.
